Healthcare International Reach Out honors the life and legacy of our beloved founding member, Beverly, whose compassion, generosity, and unwavering commitment to serving others helped shape the heart of our mission.

Beverly’s impact on the communities we serve was extraordinary and far-reaching. She donated the first orthopedic machine to the Orthopedic Unit at Kingston Public Hospital, expanding access to essential care for countless patients in need. She also orchestrated and supported life-changing surgeries for underserved individuals, including children and adults requiring procedures such as cleft palate and club foot correction- offering not only medical assistance, but hope, dignity, and a renewed future.

Her generosity extended far beyond healthcare. Beverly quietly transformed lives through her dedication to education, adopting several children from Mt. Industry School and paying their full tuition through college so they could pursue opportunities that may otherwise have been out of reach. Her support changed the trajectory of many young lives and reflected her deep belief in investing in people, not just for the moment, but for generations to come.

There are truly too many ways Beverly gave of herself to fully capture in words. Her kindness, vision, and tireless service touched countless lives across Jamaica and beyond. She was a woman of action, faith, and extraordinary heart, and her legacy will continue to live on through the work of HCI and in every life she uplifted.

We are profoundly grateful for Beverly’s life, her leadership, and the enduring example she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
